What Gemini rising means
You seem young, curious and talkative, always moving and asking questions. People see wit and quickness. You learn by trying many things.
The rising sign, or Ascendant, is the sign coming up on the eastern horizon at the moment of birth, so it needs the exact time and place. It stands for the face you show, your body and the way you begin things. In Gemini it works curiously, quickly and with words; it needs variety and ideas. Its ruler, Mercury, is the ruler of the whole chart.
The opposite point, the Descendant, falls in Sagittarius: the partner it describes is an explorer. Free, honest, funny and philosophical, often from another country, faith or culture: someone who teaches you, travels with you, and stays only if the door is left open.
