What 1 means
One is the first spark and the will to begin. It is the Sun of the numerology sky: self-directed, original and happiest out in front. Ones learn by doing, so they move first and ask permission later. Pythagoreans called it the Monad, the source from which every other number flows. At its best One pioneers, protects and inspires. At its worst it bulldozes, picks fights and forgets that a leader needs people willing to follow.
